# Evolution 5: limitations (preserved)

1. **Library only.** There is no HTTP route and nothing is deployed. It runs over exported, signed contract evidence.
2. **Proposals only tighten.** The learner cannot widen a contract or approve its own proposals. Promotion means only that a human may now issue the template.
3. **Generated attacks are candidates** until they reproduce and an independent oracle confirms them. The generator found E5-F2, which is fixed in production.
4. **Scope:** the contract fabric over RIG, OpenShell, MemVault and SCITT.
5. **The prompt's numeric targets were not met:** 1,000+ unit tests and 2,000+ adversarial tests.
